ASAE and Forum forecast annual meeting attendance

Despite the struggling economy, registrations to the Association Forum of Chicagoland’s annual meeting, scheduled for June 23 at the Navy Pier in downtown Chicago, are 12 percent higher than they were in advance of last year’s meeting, according to Gregory Fine, the Forum’s spokesman. Fine said that the group hopes the event will host up to 400 attendees this year, although he added that any amount above last year’s 378 attendees would be counted as a success. “We are pretty confident that we will hit at least the number we hit last year,” said Fine.
