Departures Croson Palmer to leave wheat growers Jim Palmer will resign as CEO of the $1M-revenue National Association of Wheat Growers on May 31. Palmer joined the association in 2013. In a statement, Palmer said he is stepping aside because "now is a great time for NAWG to have a CEO with different skill sets than mine," namely proven agriculture policy success. Before joining NAWG, Palmer was executive director of the Minnesota Soybean Growers Association and Minnesota Soybean Research and Promotion Council.
