Departures Hudis Johnson to retire from NAFSA Marlene Johnson will retire from the $21M-revenue NAFSA: Association of International Educators at the end of December, the association recently announced. Johnson has led NAFSA for 18 years. In that time, the association's membership has grown from 4,000 members to more than 10,000, as has attendance at the NAFSA Annual Conference and Expo, according to the group. Johnson is the former lieutenant governor of Minnesota, having held office from 1983 to 1991.
