January 25, 2013 Timmons Dow Chemical has cut ties to the National Association of Manufacturers on the issue of liquid natural gas exports, but NAM defended its decision to support increased overseas sales. A NAM spokesman told CEO Update in an email that the $35 million-revenue association has always supported "free and open trade" and that its policy was crafted with "significant input" from members and approved by the board and executive committee.
