The National Shooting Sports Foundation announced May 9 it has terminated its agreement with Reed Exhibitions for management of the association's annual trade show after the company adopted a policy restricting the types of firearms that could be sold at a separate event. Reed Exhibitions has managed NSSF's annual SHOT Show for more than three decades. But in the wake of last year's mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School, the company said it would not allow the sale of assault rifles at its Eastern Sports and Outdoors Show, which is not affiliated with NSSF.
