Associations gain by putting wikis to work … at work

Chad Houghton, the Society for Human Resource Management’s e-media director, was chief orchestrator of a web site overhaul at the 400-staff association last month. The redesign required participation from all departments, so he relied on an internal “wiki” to make that happen. Wiki technology provides a forum for participants to design products and share ideas, all online and at their own pace.
