Airlines for America wants more people to experience the "fly life."
The airline association has launched a new campaign to encourage careers in the industry. The new PR push was unveiled Tuesday with the Twitter hashtag #TheFlyLife and will include advertising promoting the association's website, which contains a job listings service.
"Today, the U.S. airlines are financially strong, demand for flying is on the rise, and we're a growing industry that offers unique, high-paying and high-quality jobs," A4A Vice President of Communications Penny Kozakos said. "Whether they're pilots, flight attendants, maintenance technicians, engineers, customer service representatives or meteorologists, our employees are passionate about the role they play in connecting people and goods around the world, and we're excited to share their stories."
A4A also has plans to launch the first industry-wide career hub and job board. For now, the listings service can be found at www.airlines.org/jobs
