CEO DATELINE - Bryce Harlow Foundation names new board members

Three association executives have joined the board of the Bryce Harlow Foundation, an organization that promotes the lobbying profession.
The three new association board members are David French, senior vice president of government relations at the National Retail Federation; Mike Johnson, CEO of the National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association; and Michelle Korsmo, president of the American Land Title Association.
Also appointed to the board were Sara Fagen, partner at DDC Public Affairs; Greg Polk, senior director of government Affairs at TE Connectivity; and Randy Russell, founder of The Russell Group. All board members will serve three-year terms.
In addition to the appointments, the board also named new officers for 2017. Craig Purser, CEO at the National Beer Wholesalers Association, was named chairman. He succeeds Jeff Birnbaum, president of BGR Public Relations, whose one-year term as chairman expired.
Dawn Sweeney, CEO at the National Restaurant Association, was appointed vice chairman. Rich Gold, partner at Holland & Knight, was named secretary/treasurer.
