The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors is boosting its membership and association services team in an unusual way: NAIFA is integrating an established association management company into its operations.
The Grassley Group, based in Cedar Falls, Iowa, will be referred to as the "NAIFA Midwest Office," and the 11 staffers are now NAIFA employees. NAIFA's headquarters is in Falls Church, Va.
"We are excited to bring so many talented and experienced individuals from The Grassley Group into the NAIFA-National fold," NAIFA CEO Kevin Mayeux said in a news release. "This integration gives us resources to grow membership, improve association operations, increase nondues revenue, and build specialty centers and other new initiatives to bolster NAIFA's quality member experience."
NAIFA retained TGG in 2016 and appointed Michele Grassley Clarke as NAIFA's vice president of membership and association services. TGG has provided association management services for NAIFA associations in California, Iowa, Wisconsin and the Greater Washington, D.C., area. Grassley is the daughter of Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa).
Mayeux said integrating The Grassley Group is another key step in implementing NAIFA's strategic plan.
