A trade association representing the adult entertainment industry recently sent a mocking letter to President Donald Trump seeking to correct his alleged lack of knowledge about sexually transmitted diseases while at the same time congratulating him for "the tremendous efforts you have paid for showcasing industry talent."
The May 18 letter by the Free Speech Coalition explains the difference between human papillomavirus, or HPV, and human immunodeficiency virus, or HIV, which causes AIDS. The letter was a response to a recent video in which Microsoft founder Bill Gates said that in two separate meetings with Trump, the president didn't know the difference between HPV and HIV.
FSC Coalition Eric Paul Leue was critical of the president in the letter, saying that " we understand that science is hard, and certainly a challenging concept for people who do not believe in facts."
Leue also thanked Trump for the "spotlight" he has put on the industry—a not-so-subtle reference to Trump's alleged affair and payoff to porn star Stormy Daniels.
Trump has allowed "such socially marginalized workers in the sex trade" to demonstrate they have "business aptitude and political savvy on par (or even greater!)" than the president, he said. http://bit.ly/2kbcRQk
