Trucking associations take case to Supreme Court The American Trucking Associations appeared before the U.S. Supreme Court Tuesday as part of its ongoing challenge of the "ill-founded attempt" by the Port of Los Angeles to impose a comprehensive licensing scheme on trucks hauling freight in and out of port. ATA was represented by Daniel Lerman, an attorney with the firm of Robbins Russell in Washington, D.C.
