How one association weathered the mortgage crisis The near collapse of the mortgage industry a few years ago hit NAMB-The Association of Mortgage Professionals harder than many other groups, forcing it to make drastic changes to survive, NAMB board treasurer John Councilman recounted in a recent guest column for National Mortgage Professional Magazine.
