AMA will not sue on release of medical records The American Medical Association said Monday it would not sue to stop the release by Medicare of billing records for 880,000 physicians, according to the Associated Press. Medicare is scheduled to release the records Wednesday. AMA still opposes the move, telling the news agency that making the data public will do more harm than good.
