Associations launch campaign about media violence Groups such as the Motion Picture Association of America are joining with entertainment companies to launch a new campaign to let parents know they can control the amount of sex and violence their children see in television and movies. According to Reuters, the new campaign "will include educational and informational websites and in-theater advertising." It also will involve the re-airing of commercials created a few years ago telling parents to "be the boss" of what is viewed in their homes.
