U.S. Travel says trade show has bigger impact than Super Bowl A new study commissioned by the U.S. Travel Association has found that the group's annual trade show generates more economic impact for its host city than the Super Bowl. According to research by Rockport Analytics, U.S. Travel's annual International IPW (formerly known as International Pow Wow) generated more than four times as many direct expenditures; delivered more than five times the amount of gross domestic product value-added direct impact; and generated greater tax revenues across the local, state and federal levels.
