Road group links traffic deadlock to political deadlock Responding to a new report finding that Washington, D.C., has the worst traffic in the country, the head of the American Road & Transportation Builders Association says it is a situation that mirrors what is happening on Capitol Hill. The report by the Texas Transportation Institute concluded that commuters to D.C. must spend nearly three hours to take a trip that should last 30 minutes, according to the Associated Press.
