Gun maker, video game groups to lobby Connecticut lawmakers Two associations whose members often get blamed for gun violence have hired lobbyists to represent them before the Connecticut General Assembly, which will likely explore measures to prevent a repeat of the Dec. 14 mass shooting at a Newtown, Conn., elementary school. According to the Hartford (Conn.) Courant, the Entertainment Software Association has agreed to pay Brown Rudnick Government Relations Strategies $36,000 to lobby the state legislature.
