Furniture associations announce merger The nation's three largest furniture retailer associations have announced plans to combine into a single organization, the industry publication Furniture Today reported Jan. 2. Boards of the National Home Furnishings Association, Western Home Furnishings Association and Home Furnishings Independents Association recently agreed to merge the groups into the North American Home Furnishings Association.
