Wood, paper associations bemoan court ruling on greenhouse gases A federal court has ruled that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency cannot exempt biofuel producers from greenhouse gas regulations, a blow to business groups that had supported the agency's decision. According to the industry news site Environmental Leader, the U.S. Court of Appeals ruled Friday that EPA was wrong to exempt the biofuel industry from the government's efforts to combat climate change.
