Survey ranks D.C.'s best performing associations Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America led the pack in lobbying and membership mobilization categories in a survey released Wednesday ranking overall performance of Washington, D.C.-based associations. PhRMA came in first in four areas—lobbying, multilateral impact, local impact and membership mobilization—ranked by the survey. Close second was the U.S. Travel Association, which topped three categories—bipartisanship, industry reputation steward and media relations.
