Pepsi to make public contributions to associations Pepsi has agreed to disclose fully the names of all trade associations that lobby on its behalf at state and federal levels, as long as the groups receive more than $25,000 annually from the company. The announcement by New York State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli on Friday is the latest development in a nationwide push by activist shareholders and some elected officials to pressure companies into making their political spending public, including donations to business groups such the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
