Pharmaceutical group sees success in West Virginia A national association's campaign to prevent state lawmakers in West Virginia from stricter laws on the sale of drugs containing pseudoephedrine appears to be working, much to the dismay of supporters of the tougher standards. According to the Charleston (W.Va.) Gazette, a state legislative committee recently gutted a bill that would have restricted the sale of over-the-counter drugs that contain the chemical, which is a key ingredient in making meth.
