Associations ask Supreme Court to block federal haze rule enforcement Four associations want the U.S. Supreme Court to weigh in on a case that could limit the Environmental Protection Agency's ability to regulate air pollution that leads to haze in popular scenic areas. The groups filed a friend of court brief Wednesday in a case pitting the states of Oklahoma and North Dakota against the EPA.
