Forest and Paper Chooses Insider as Next CEO

When board members of the American Forest & Paper Association met last week for an executive session, they decided not to launch another search process for their next CEO. Their pick was already in place. Donna Harman, the trade group’s top lobbyist, had been serving as the interim leader since mid-May, when former CEO Juanita Duggan resigned. Executive search firm Russell Reynolds had conducted the initial search, and in standard practice, the firm may have been contractually required to perform a new search for free if a CEO leaves within a year.
