Glass CEO ends three decades in post

James Harris National Glass Association CEO Phil James has decided to step down from the leadership position he has held since 1982, although he won't be going very far for at least another year. James transitioned to CEO emeritus of the $6 million-revenue group on June 19. He will remain in his office at the association's Vienna, Va.-based headquarters until his retirement Aug. 1, 2015, providing full-time counsel to his successor and to the NGA board of directors.
