Departures Psychological association head leaves amid controversy CEO Norman Anderson will retire early from the $128M-revenue American Psychological Association after an independent investigation concluded that association staff colluded with U.S. officials to justify what critics contend was torture. An independent report commissioned by APA looked at the association's involvement in determining how detainees of the war on terror were treated while in U.S. custody. The report found some APA staff were too eager to "curry favor" with U.S. officials, and as a result, "that may have enabled the government's use of abusive interrogation techniques," the association said.… Read More
