Former trade group leader helped transform the Grocery Manufacturers Association into a major political player in D.C. Koch George Koch, the association CEO who turned the Grocery Manufacturers Association into a potent political force, died at Jan. 26 at the ManorCare Health Services facility in Potomac, Md.
