Former ASF members forming new trade group A group of banks, law firms and other bond market participants that recently dropped out of the American Securitization Forum are forming their own business group, according to Dow Jones Newswire. More than 30 firms are expected to announce the creation of the new association perhaps as soon as this week. Among them will be Wells Fargo & Co., the largest U.S. mortgage lender, a Wells Fargo spokeswoman told the news service.
