Beware of social media pitfalls

Earlier this year, the National Labor Relations Board released a report citing examples of some companies' social media policies that it said went too far in restricting employee speech. Among the NLRB's findings: A policy is unlawful if it restricts employees' right to unionize under the National Labor Relations Act, which can include prohibitions about discussing work at the organization online.
