Group seeks to spotlight commercial shrink wrap
Commercial shrink-wrap suppliers and installers have founded an association to develop standards for the industry as well as educate the public about what they do. The fledgling National Association of Shrink Wrapping Professionals will debut at the International BoatBuilders Exhibition & Conference to be held in Louisville, Ky., Oct 17-19.

After nearly 30 years leading the Futures Industry Association, John Damgard will be stepping down as president, his group announced Sept. 9. Damgard made the announcement public at the close of the 32nd annual Burgenstock Conference in Interlaken, Switzerland, which began Sept. 6-9 and was sponsored by the Swiss Futures and Options Association.
