Patrick French helped transform Texas Alliance of Energy Producers into major advocate for oil and gas industry French Patrick French, a former association consulting company executive who helped turn the Texas Alliance of Energy Producers into a powerful political force, died of cancer Aug. 18 at his familys home in Bethesda, Md. He was 64. French was president of the Foundation for Energy Education and executive vice president of the Texas Alliance of Energy Producers, where he led a major public education effort on the role of the oil and gas industry in the nations economy.
