Ahead of legislation on climate change, major business and industry trade groups are already staking out space in the debate, in hopes of convincing lawmakers of ways to keep the U.S. economy competitive in their quest for energy efficiency. From the automobile industry to oil, gas and manufacturing, few sectors underestimate the scope and reach of climate change legislation.
