Mental well-being becomes core mission for veterinary groups

With veterinarians at high risk of suicide, their associations develop programs and hire staff to address the roots of the problem Peterson Veterinarians are two to three more times likely to die of suicide than the general population, according to a 2018 study by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
