Poker group moving to D.C., names new head The Poker Players Alliance announced plans to relocate to the nation’s capital as well as a change in leadership. The San Francisco, Calif.-based PPA plans to move its headquarters to Washington, D.C. in the coming weeks, but Michael Bolcerek will not make the move with the group and recently stepped down as president. John Pappas, the group’s vice president of government affairs since May, succeeds Bolcerek as president.
