Groups plead with New York to spare trade show venue
Toy Industry Association and National Retail Federation among those asking governor to reconsider replacing Javits Center New York Citys Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, home to some of the nations most high-profile trade shows, may soon be razed to make way for new development, and at least two national associations say they will likely take their business elsewhere if that happens.
