D.C. health care lobbyist dies at age 45Reed Franklin, director of government relations for the American Health Care Association, died Sept. 5. He was 45. Franklin died of natural causes, according to the obituary by Heritage Funeral Service and Crematory of Lynchburg, Va. He had worked for AHCA since 2009, having previously worked at the American Nurses Association, American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and American Telemedicine Association.
