FairPlayUSA promotes online poker as safe bet

A group of advocates has joined to ask federal policymakers to establish what it says would be a strict regulatory framework allowing people to play poker online legally. FairPlayUSA officially launched July 26 by calling on Congress for clear definitions of illegal gambling and for giving law enforcement the tools to stop it, but at the same time setting up rules for online poker. Internet gambling currently is illegal in the U.S.
