Longtime trade executive Harold P. Quinn, who had been serving as interim, succeeds Kraig Naasz, who left the association in August Harold P. Quinn, general counsel and longtime executive at the National Mining Association, has been appointed the trade groups permanent CEO, effectively immediately. Quinn had been named interim leader shortly after the departure of CEO Kraig Naasz in August. Its unclear if NMA had hired a search firm to fill the post.
