Video game group steps up industry advocacy agenda

Michael Gallagher, president and CEO of the Entertainment Software Association, wants everyone to know that video games are not child’s play and his organization is primed for play in the big leagues, despite the relative youthfulness of his industry. “We’re still in this evolutionary phase of cultural acceptance,” he said, likening video games’ reputation to that of comic books and movies. “I think we are right at the edge of it.
