Wireless tech lobbyist to head venture capital association

After his successful advocacy career, CTIA's Bobby Franklin set to try his hand as first-time CEO at Arlington-based group Franklin CTIA-The Wireless Association is losing a lobbyist and the $7 million-revenue National Venture Capital Association is gaining a new CEO. Bobby Franklin will join the Arlington, Va.-based group in September, replacing Mark Heesen, who is stepping down after working at NVCA for 22 years.
