Government Affairs Industry Network aims to inclusively connect D.C. Experienced government affairs professionals have short one-on-one conversations with people newer to the field at "speed mentoring" event March 29. When a longtime association for lobbyists shut down abruptly in 2016, a few young professionals saw a void. They launched a networking group aimed at connecting their peers in a more inclusive way.
