American Insurance CEO steps down

In one of the most visible signs of the changing of the guard in Washington, Marc Racicot, a former chair of the Republican National Committee, will step down as CEO of the American Insurance Association, effective Feb. 1. The two-time Montana governor has held the AIA job since June 2005. Racicot will be succeeded by AIA COO Leigh Ann Pusey, a former communications staffer for Rep. Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.)
