Bode steps down amid battle over energy tax break Denise Bode resigned as CEO of the $35M-revenue American Wind Energy Association Jan. 1, exiting a group that has spent the past year lobbying federal lawmakers to renew a vital tax break for wind energy production. In a statement, Bode said she left to return to private practice as a tax attorney.
