Crisson announces exit next year from APPA Mark Crisson will retire as CEO of the $18M-revenue American Public Power Association on April 1, 2014, the public utilities association recently announced. Crisson has led APPA since 2008, having previously been CEO and director of utilities for Tacoma Public Utilities in the state of Washington. In a statement, Crisson said he has been associated with public power for 35 years. "We have accomplished much in the past five years," he said.
