Training staff in cybersecurity protocols helps avert costly attacks Scammers targeted the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute soon after its staff began working from home because of the coronavirus pandemic. A human resources employee received an email that appeared to be from the group's chief financial officer. The email asked for a change in the CFO's direct deposit information so his paycheck would be sent to a new back account.
