Associations increase calls to settle online sales tax fight

National dispute over online sales tax collection pits many traditional retail groups against their Internet-age counterparts As states look to Congress to give them authority to collect taxes on Internet purchases, a handful of retail-affiliated associations are revving up PR engines to support or oppose the idea.
