ABA has signed a lease for 87,000 square feet at The Meridian Group's 1333 New Hampshire Ave. NW. The group's new office is less than a mile north of its current office at 1120 Connecticut Ave. NW, which it has occupied since 1970, according to ABA.
"We are excited about ABA's new location and the opportunity to serve our members from an updated, modern office," Rob Nichols, the association's CEO, said in a statement. "We appreciate the work the CBRE team did to ensure that our new headquarters will meet our needs now and in the future."
Recent renovations at the New Hampshire Avenue property included updating the 12-story building's facade, redesigning the lobby, adding a fitness center and designing a "rooftop experience" that includes an indoor-outdoor lounge and conference space with 360-degree views of Washington's central business district, the National Cathedral and Rosslyn, Va., according to a press release by CBRE Group, which represented ABA in the transaction.
ABA reported $145 million in revenue in its most recent tax filing.
