Hackers target Internet regulator Even the nonprofit organization in charge of assigning Internet addresses can't escape the reach of hackers. The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers said Tuesday it had fallen victim to a hack that compromised employee emails and personal information, according to the Los Angeles Times. The hack involved emails crafted to look as though they came from the organization's own domain, the newspaper reported.
