Organic companies drop out of dairy association over GMO lawsuit Two organic dairy companies recently announced they were cutting ties with the International Dairy Foods Association because of its support of a suit against a Vermont law requiring labels on foods containing genetically modified organisms. New Hampshire-based Stonyfield Farm and California-based Clover Stornetta Farms pulled out of the trade group saying they were "under fire" from consumers who support the law, according to the independent news site VTDigger.org.
