Museum association urged to rethink guidelines concerning looted art A Jewish organization wants the American Alliance of Museums to review its ethical standards after the association declined to investigate an Oklahoma museum that houses a painting stolen by Nazis during World War II. In a Nov. 11 letter, the World Jewish Restoration Organization urged AAM President Ford Bell to give more weight to ethical concerns in the association's accreditation process for museums.
